Guardrail Replacement, Hodges Village Dam, Oxford, MA

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is soliciting bids for the replacement of approximately 1,320 linear feet of existing metal guardrail at Hodges Village Dam in Oxford, Massachusetts, with work divided between 750 linear feet along the perimeter of Augutleback Pond and 570 linear feet along the main access road serving the Thames River Basin Office. The project requires the installation of MassDOT standard W-beam, 12-gauge galvanized steel guardrail supported by pressure-treated Southern Yellow Pine or Douglas Fir wood posts and offset blocks compliant with AWPA standards. All work must conform to Attachments 26QA121, Figures 1–3, and contractors must submit ENG Form 6293 prior to commencement.
