TACOM-RI intends to negotiate on sole source basis with Houtzeel Manufacturing Systems Inc., 1620 Sudbury RD Suite 3, Concord, MA for the maintenance of the Second Generation HMS-CAPP Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP) and Shop Graphics Systems s oftware. Acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies/services will satisfy the agency requirement. This notice is neither a request nor an invitation for quote. However, all infor mation received by the close of business on 9/28/05 will be considered by the government. Information received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to c ompete this proposed contract action based on responses to this will be entirely at the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in preparation of responses to this ann ouncement.
