AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is seeking an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide comprehensive end-to-end event planning and logistics support for the Innovative Housing Showcase, a multi-day public event to be held on the National Mall in Washington D.C. The event will highlight advanced building technologies and full-size housing solutions designed to increase homeownership affordability for American families. Contractors must manage all aspects of event production including planning, coordination, media support, communications, and public promotion, with an active role in shaping how the event is presented and marketed. Only offerors with demonstrated and verified experience performing similar services on the National Mall will be considered, and proof of current approval from the National Park Service to conduct events on the Mall in September is a mandatory eligibility requirement. Submission of a completed Event Pricing Worksheet and verifiable past performance references—including a direct NPS point of contact who can confirm eligibility—are essential components of any proposal. Proposals must be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer by 5:00 p.m. EST on May 6, 2026, and must include all items specified in FAR Clause 52.212-2, with no exceptions. The solicitation does not specify contract value ceilings, pricing details, or formal evaluation weights, but emphasizes compliance with submission requirements as a pass-fail criterion, particularly regarding National Mall experience and NPS approval. The contract is not set aside for any socioeconomic category and falls under NAICS code 561920. Performance will occur exclusively at the National Mall, District of Columbia, with no goods delivery involved. The contracting office is located in Philadelphia, but all work must be executed on-site in Washington D.C. No information is provided regarding point of contact for technical oversight, invoicing methods, or payment details, and no packaging, marking, or inspection standards beyond compliance with federal and NPS regulations are outlined. The award methodology is unspecified, but the emphasis on mandatory documentation suggests a focus on technical acceptability over price competition.
