The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-56315-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Daniel Hudson.
This Agreement relies on the Notification materials, a CDFW site visit on June 5, 2025, and correspondence with Permittees representative. The Project is limited to one (1) encroachment to decommission an existing stream crossing. Work for this encroachment will include removal of the existing 8-inch diameter culvert and smaller plastic corrugated pipe, excavation down to the original stream channel, restoration of the stream banks at a slope no steeper than 2:1 (horizontal: vertical) or natural slope, installation of three to five inch diameter angular rock in the restored stream channel as necessary to stabilize the restored channel, and application of weed-free rice straw on any exposed soils to mitigate erosion and promote growth of native vegetation.
