The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for written Identification Checking Guides and the online access to said guides for use by TSA to aid screeners in verifying identification credentials presented for access into sterile areas of airports.  The guides (written and online) shall contain valid and current state license photo ID’s, front and back color pictures of Driver Licenses, U.S. Federal identifications and Federal Documents, to include but not limited to immigration documents, passports, military/Department of Defense ID Cards, visas, Diplomatic, Consular identifications, Trusted Traveler Programs (i.e. Customs and Border Protection (CDP) and Tribal Identifications.  OCONUS (outside the continental US) written Identification Checking Guides are also needed.  OCONUS guides shall contain valid and all issuing countries of national and territorial driver’s license photo ID’s front and back color pictures of Driver Licenses, and country’s official Identification Card. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a contract to D. R. Myers Distributing Co, 1492 ODDSTAD DR REDWOOD CITY, CA, 940. This contract will address the requirements of TSA’s office of Security Operations. 



The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.   A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
