NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to award a sole source contract to Springer Nature Customer Service Center, LLC for a complete publication of open access textbook provisionally titled Military Microgrids – Installation, Operational, Expeditionary, and Tactical Microgrid Applications to Springer Nature Customer Service Center LLC (Springer). The textbook is about military microgrids; and have the book published in open access and are intending to put out a new edition at a cadence of every 1-2 years. The textbook comprise of approximately 320 pages including approximately 90 illustrations. The textbook is drafted by multiple editors. The work is intended to be published under the terms of Creative Commons Attirbution-NonCommercial-NoDerviatives 4.0 International License.
