Publication of Military Microgrid Book

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego intends to award a sole source contract to Springer Nature Customer Service Center, LLC for the publication of an open-access textbook titled Military Microgrids – Installation, Operational, Expeditionary, and Tactical Microgrid Applications. The textbook, which will be approximately 320 pages in length and include around 90 illustrations, is being developed by multiple editors led by Dr. Douglas Van Bossuyt and is intended to serve as a comprehensive educational resource for military personnel and power systems managers. The contract will be awarded without competitive solicitation under the NAICS code 513130 for Publishing Industries, except Internet, with no set-aside provisions.
