The Infinite 131 Project, sponsored by US 131 Terminal Court Owner, LLC and approved by the City of South San Francisco City Council on September 24, 2025, involves the redevelopment of a 17.67-acre site. The project scope includes the demolition of approximately 126,750 square feet of industrial uses at the Golden Gate Produce Terminal and 116,572 square feet of open-air structures. In their place, the project will construct approximately 1.7 million square feet of research-and-development uses and amenities across seven buildings ranging from one to six stories, supported by two parking garages, surface parking, and landscaping. To facilitate this, the project requires general plan, specific plan, and zoning code amendments to transition the land use from Mixed Industrial High to Business Technology Park High, a redesignation that also extends to five additional off-site parcels to the north. The project is scheduled for construction in eight phases over a five-year period, with the southern portion running from March 2026 to October 2028 and the northern portion from November 2028 to May 2031. Environmental clearance was managed under the California Environmental Quality Act, with a Final Environmental Impact Report certified in August 2025. Key compliance requirements include adhering to American Disabilities Act standards for any impacted Caltrans facilities, maintaining bicycle and pedestrian access during construction, and following safety criteria defined in the Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan. Project coordination is managed by the City of South San Francisco, with key contacts including Principal Planner Billy Gross and consulting firm ICF.

US 131 Terminal Court Owner, LLC (project sponsor), is proposing construction and operation of the Infinite 131 Project (proposed project), which would include demolition of approximately 126,750 square feet (sf) of industrial and operational uses that are currently occupied by the Golden Gate Produce Terminal, along with approximately 116,572 sf of open-air structures (e.g., loading docks, trash compactor areas), on a 17.67-acre site (i.e., the project site). In its place, the proposed project would construct approximately 1.7 million sf of research-and-development (R&D) uses and amenities within seven buildings, ranging from one to six-stories, along with two parking garages and additional surface parking. Landscaping would also be provided. The proposed project would require general plan, specific plan, and zoning code amendments to change the existing land use and zoning designations from Mixed Industrial High (MIH) to Business Technology Park High (BTP-H) and allow development of the R&D campus. In addition, five parcels north of the project site at 120 Terminal Court, 196 Produce Avenue, 160 Produce Avenue, and 140 Produce Avenue (APNs 015-113-350, 015-113-290, 015-113-340, 015-113-330, 015-113-320), which are currently designated and zoned as MIH, would also seek general plan, specific plan and zoning code amendments to be redesignated as BTP-H (referred to as the off-site redesignation parcels). However, the proposed project would not include the construction of any new uses as part of redesignation of these parcels.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO-15 CMOP division, is soliciting a construction contract for the decommissioning of the Leavenworth VA CMOP facility located at 5000 S 13th St, Leavenworth, KS. This project is a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) with an estimated construction magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The scope of work involves the disassembly, demolition, and disposal of Automated Prescription Fulfillment System (APFS) equipment, conveyors, and electrical systems, as well as general building repairs and the decommissioning of a central vacuum system. A key requirement includes providing 5,000 to 10,000 square feet of off-site storage near the Shawnee CMOP to facilitate federal equipment excessing procedures. The total performance period is 365 calendar days, though the government intends for the actual decommissioning to be completed within 60 days of the Notice to Proceed. Contractors must adhere to strict GSA guidelines for inventory and photography, as well as manufacturer standards for the packaging and palletization of electronic and robotic components to prevent damage.
