The New York State Department of Transportation, is assisting Greenman-Pedersen, Inc (GPI), in the selection and retention of a subcontractor to provide Special Access for Consultant / State Inspection Teams throughout NYSDOT’s Region 3, 4, 5 & 6 under Contract No. D042077. A Subcontractor will be selected and retained for each type of special access equipment, which includes: Diving Services The selected Subcontractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, and equipment for the Special Access for Large Culvert Inspections located throughout all counties of the listed NYSDOT Regions. The required special access will assist GPI, our subconsultant partners and New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) personnel, or their authorized designee, with the inspection of said large culvert structures. Work shall be performed as described and in accordance with NYSDOT standards, the project specifications and the technical specifications. Required Experience: As the safety of human lives is at risk, the Subcontractor shall have had a minimum of three (3) years documented experience in providing structural inspection diving services. The bid package explains in more detail the nature of the work, requirements and conditions needed to successfully complete this assignment. The project duration is from the execution of the Contract through May 31, 2030. The number of workdays required per crew to provide special access per week will vary from zero to seven (0 to 7) days. Also, weekend special access may be required to complete the work.
