This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued. T his notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to DP SOLUTIONS for (1) Software Upgrade for AS/400 Operating Sy stem from V5R3 to V5R4. Award the above-stated requirement directly to DP SOLUTIONS. The supplies/services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1). Interested sources may id entify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All quotations received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solel y within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
