The County is seeking proposals from vendors to supply a new roadside mowing tractor which provides a minimum 100 hp at the PTO and an operational cycle capable of mowing not less than 26 linear kilometres daily within the Council approved budget for this tractor of $170,000. after trade-in of current tractor. While in the past, the County has specified such requirements as bolted on dual rear wheels and a specific transmission, the County may not be aware of the newest innovations available, such as advancements with transmissions. The County seeks vendors to propose the best solution to meet the performance measures stated within the Deliverables section to carryout the right-of-way mowing in the most efficient and safe operations possible. Vendors will be required to tell the County why their solution is the best choice.
