This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1240LS26Q0028 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for replacing HVAC systems for two tree coolers located at the Libby Ranger District on the Kootenai National Forest. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 811310 The small business size standard is $12.5 million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by
the agency.

This project is to replace the HVAC systems for two tree coolers located at the Libby Ranger District on the
Kootenai National Forest. Both tree coolers have dated HVAC systems that cannot be easily repaired and do
not meet modern energy efficiency standards. The goal of this project is to provide fully functioning tree cooler
HVAC systems with associated evaporator fans and necessary materials for the refrigeration system. See
Attachment 2 – Statement of Work for a complete list of requirements.
It is anticiapted that work can begin 7/1.
