Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in the amount of $10,000.00. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
Questions may be asked through the PennBIDTM system. The final date to submit questions is 5:00pm, September 24, 2026. This contract includes sludge removal, pumping, hauling, and disposal, as well as emergency wastewater hauling services. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
The Contractor may visit the site(s) to inspect existing conditions and facilities prior to submitting the bid. Chadds Ford Township Sewer Authority’s Turner’s Mill WWTP, located at 10 Ring Road, Chadds Ford Township, Pa will be open to all prospective bidders Tuesday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. All prospective bidders shall inform the Authority Manager, Ms. Valerie Hoxter, of the date and time they intend to visit the site either via phone @ (484) 800-8178 or via email @ vhoxter@Chaddsfordsewer.org
