Maintenance, Inspections, and Repair Services of Elevators

Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) seeks firm-fixed price bids from prospective Bidders to provide labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform conditional assessments, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs and planned component replacements on 109 elevators located on LIRR property. The IFB Package may be obtained via the MTA Portal – under IFB #244168 - Maintenance, Inspections, and Repair Services of Elevators. A Pre-Bidders’ Conference and Site Tour will commence on September 28, 2026 at 9:00 AM at Lynbrook Train Station, located at Sunrise Highway and Broadway, Lynbrook, NY 11563. Transportation will not be provided by LIRR; therefore attendees are required to arrange their own method of transportation for the Site Tour, including travel to multiple locations throughout each day. Site tour will take approximately 5 full days; however, Site Tour schedule is subject to change, and may require additional days. Safety Attire (boots, protective eyewear, hard hats and vests) is mandatory for all attendees. Attendance at the Bidders’ Conference is not mandatory but strongly recommended.
