Lakeland Electric is seeking bids for the supply and transfer of new turbine lubricating oil for McIntosh Power Plant, Unit 5 Steam Turbine. This project supports routine maintenance and reliability of the turbine lubrication system and will be performed during an upcoming scheduled outage. The work includes furnishing approximately 3,900 gallons of turbine lube oil and transferring the oil into the turbine lubrication reservoir. Oil removal will be performed under a separate contract. Pre-fill cleaning of the lube oil reservoir will be performed under a separate contract. Lakeland Electric recognizes that vendors may supply turbine oil in different conditioning states, therefore, this solicitation allows pricing for both conditioned (filtered to spec) and unconditioned oil, with clearly defined delivery and handling requirements for each scenario. All work shall be performed within an operating industrial power generation environment and must comply with applicable safety, environmental, and equipment protection requirements.
