Merchandisers, Island, Spot Display Dual Temperature

The Defense Commissary Agency is seeking information from potential suppliers to provide spot display merchandisers with dual temperature capability for use in its stores across CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii, and OCONUS locations including the Far East and Puerto Rico. The equipment must be upright floor models, approximately 40 to 48 inches long or wide, 27 to 36 inches deep, and 30 to 38 inches high, with a minimum capacity of 11.1 cubic feet. Each unit must be self-contained with no plumbing required, feature thermostat-controlled temperature settings ranging from 0 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, have swivel casters for mobility, and include glass lids. The units must be colored black or white and operate on standard U.S. electrical specifications: 115 volts, 60 Hz, single phase, with a minimum six-foot cord and a NEMA standard plug; Pacific region stores must be compatible with 60 Hz only. The equipment must be UL listed and NSF certified, with CE certification explicitly unacceptable, and must comply with Section 612 of the Clean Air Act and the EPA’s SNAP program, using approved refrigerants such as R290, R744, or R600a. Units must be shipped ready to plug in and use, and upon delivery, the contractor must provide a point of contact for service, installation and operating instructions, and a detailed parts list. A one-year warranty from the date of delivery covering defective material and workmanship, including parts, service, and labor, is required.
