MES & CSF Pump Motor Replacements

Spartanburg County School District Two is soliciting sealed bids for a turnkey project to replace existing single circulation pumps with two pumps at Mayo Elementary and Cooley Springs Fingerville Elementary School. The scope of work includes all labor, travel, parts, and equipment, specifically requiring the installation of four-inch thick housekeeping pads for each pump and the piping of all condensate and equipment drains to the nearest floor drain. All hot and chilled water piping must be installed between 74 and 76 inches above the finished floor. The project requires strict adherence to manufacturer recommendations, the submission of shop drawings for review, and a total prohibition on the use of asbestos. Bids must be submitted by September 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM via the Beacon Bid platform or by mail. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder by complete lots to a single offeror. Qualified providers must submit a signed solicitation form, a W-9, and at least three references, preferably from K-12 school districts. Additionally, the successful contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance for Commercial General Liability with a minimum limit of 1,000,000 dollars per accident, naming the District as an additional insured. Preferred vendors for electrical and HVAC BMS/controls are Graybar and Schneider Electric.
