Metal Aircraft Sunshades Maintenance

The 633d Contracting Squadron is seeking qualified contractors to perform comprehensive inspection, maintenance, and repair services on three aircraft metal roof sunshades located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia. The scope includes structural assessments, LED lighting maintenance, bird nesting mitigation, lightning protection system inspections in accordance with NFPA 780, obstruction lighting checks, safety and fall protection system evaluations, and any other attached components critical to the operational integrity and safety of the shelters. All work must adhere to OEM specifications, Unified Facilities Criteria, Unified Facility Guide Specifications, and applicable federal, state, and local codes, with strict compliance to the Performance Work Statement and associated technical exhibits. Performance is required on-site at the installation, with all inspections, repairs, and documentation conducted at the location. The work is governed by a “Zero Defects” performance standard across all critical tasks, including routine inspections, repair timelines, work order completion, emergency condition assessment, and emergency repair initiation, with 100% government surveillance to ensure absolute compliance. The contract has a one-year base period from 30 September 2026 through 29 September 2027, with four additional one-year option periods that may be exercised at the government’s discretion.
