Westchester County is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for a pilot program to develop deploy, and operate a microtransit service in the Peekskill service area. The successful proposer will develop operational, outreach, and metric tracking plans, and provide a turnkey, fully electric, on-demand, app-based, shared-ride microtransit system in compliance with grant funding from NYSERDA. Subcontracting is permitted, subject to the requirements set forth in the RFP. In selecting a subcontractor, the Proposer must establish to the satisfaction of Westchester County, that the subcontractor selected is the most qualified vendor with experience in microtransit and public mobility systems. The Proposer shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with the NYSERDA Agreement, including but not limited to Section 5.02 thereof, which governs Subcontracting Procedures, as well as the County’s requirements for subcontractors.
