Certified Fire Protection technician to do the following. 1) Replace all sprinkler heads on Overhead Deluge System with new appropriate type/style heads. Heads are 79-yrs old. 2) Install flush connections at the end of predetermined locations. (Branch-lines /Mains) 3) Provide air-test of system at 40psi to verify there are no major breaks in any parts of overhead piping. 4) Flush connections to extend to outside of hangar (can be by hoses) but ends will need to have debris screens attached to prevent FOD from being dumped onto Taxiway or Airfield and for verification to NAVFAC Fire Section. 5) When flush connections are being installed, perform brief internal inspection of overhead piping. For Main remove end-caps to view within. Provide pictures/videos. 6) After flushing is complete perform hydro static test of system at 200psi for 2hrs. 7) Document any deficiencies and provide report to NAVFAC PWF FP-PM 8) Remove all center links or bulbs from sprinkler heads to make them "open" head deluge system. 9) Put system back in service. 10) Clean entire area daily, no debris can be left anywhere during work.
