COMP_OS CMZZB7 Unit continues to trip on low pressure flow. 6-24-24 1200-1500 unit tripped on flow again found water pressure down to 12 from 30. removed more air from system and added water pressure. traced out flow switch checked operation ordered another automatic air bleeder. 6-27-24 1500-1600 added more water to loop, found leak in coil on FCU valved off water flow to unit. reset chiller 6-28-24 found chiller off on flow again. reset and more added water to loop. searched all the FCUs in space to try to locate additional leaks. no more leaks were found besides the one FCU that was isolated yesterday. will continue to monitor water pressure and make determination from there still waiting on new air separator. 7-1-24 1200-1400 found unit tripped on low flow but water pressure was not low this time. searched piping and found strainer section before pump buried under sand. tried to access strainer but bolts were completely rusted out. tried to drain section and little water comes out despite 40psi of pressure. water loop is full of deposits and the strainer needs replacing. ordered new strainer section for 2.5" water piping. 7-17-24 0730-0930 installed new strainer assembly onto chilled water line in front of water pump in basement. reset chiller and refilled loop. if unit still continues to trip on flow a project ticket will be required to go any further. This is to inform you the following work order will exceed the limit of liability.
