Bids will be received online by Lower Nazareth Township via PennBid until 11:00 AM prevailing time on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, for the:
“TOWNSHIP LINE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION”, LOCATED IN: LOWER NAZARETH & EAST ALLEN TOWNSHIPS, NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PA
The project consists of roadway reconstruction, including excavation, backfill, milling and overlay, paving, full-depth reconstruction, pavement markings and signing, storm sewer, labor, equipment, materials, and all other associated work listed herein and as indicated on the contract plans.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Lower Nazareth Township Building, 623 Municipal Drive, Nazareth, PA.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Lower Nazareth Township or a Bid Bond in favor of Lower Nazareth Township in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders.
The work on this project constitutes Public Works by a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that workers on this project must be paid the prevailing minimum wage rates promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor.
All Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified as Prime Contractors and in the specific PennDOT Work Class Codes that constitute at least 50% of the project. The project will be constructed in conformance with PennDOT Publication 408 (latest edition) and the project Technical Provisions.
No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the opening date. Lower Nazareth Township reserves the right to reject all bids and waive any bidding informalities.
