This notice of Intent for a sole source element that is to be acquired as part of a construction contract for the Sebewaing River South Levee Repairs. The sole source element that is required is the temporary relocating of the overhead utility line owned by Sebewaing Power and Light that is located within the construction area of the levee repairs along the Sebewaing River. The work to complete the relocation must be performed by Sebewaing Power and Light or their subcontractor. The prime contractor must coordinate with Sebewaing Power and Light for the relocation of the overhead utility line. As part of this procurement, the Detroit District intends to specify sole source element under the authority of Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 6.103-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.


This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal. This is not a solicitation, and the information contained herein are subject to change or be eliminated for the requirement. Only contractors capable of providing directly compatible equivalent service shall respond. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
