Notice of Intent to Increase the Ceiling on N66001-13-C-4045

This is a notice of intent to increase the ceiling of Contract N66001-13-C-4045 to MacAulay-Brown Inc., awarded by SSC Pacific on behalf of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA), Information Innovation Office, (I2O) on 24 September 2013 in support of DARPA I2Os program Vetting Commodity It Software and Firmware (VET). The performer, MacAulay-Brown, has had success and novel ideas in the research area of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) firmware specifically, the inexact subgraph matching. This additional Option 2 effort is to further the FPGA inexact subgraph matching research and increase the transition readiness of the solution to the warfighter by examining a tool developed by another VET performer for potential integration of a linguistic approach for developing checklist entries to augment the FPGA checklist creation process. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541712. Due to the nature of Research and Development efforts, DARPA could not have reasonably estimated the results and additional needs for the research under this program, which has seen breakthroughs that will benefit from continued research under this current contract. This action includes a ceiling increase of approximately $50,000.00.
