NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE
Acu-Gage Emergency Repair Services
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on behalf of the Office of Production Engineering. The contract will precure the repair of three of our Acu‑Gage proprietary measuring systems that have become non‑functional and require OEM repair to restore production capability Eastern Currency Facility (ECF). The equiptment are proprietary and can only be acquired from Agu Gage Syetems. Therefore, the Government intends to award a sole source contract to Acu-Gage Ssytems in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302 1(a)(2)(ii)(b).
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information, or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
