Full Description

This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of SSA's Intent to Renew, on a sole- source basis, a firm-fixed price Purchase Order to Gallagher Benefit Services,Inc. for continued access to their online electronic subscription entitled, "GVISOR". Per FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The GVISOR subscription is only available from its producer and manufacture and not through dealers or distributors. The period of performance will be for one year beginning 01/01/2015 through 12/31/2015. The subscription includes Monthly News, Compliance Alerts, and Country Manuals. The requirement is utilizing procedures in FAR Part 12 in conjunction with procedures in FAR Part 13. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by SSA not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of SSA. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this publication. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If no affirmative responses are received within 2 business days, in accordance with FAR 13-106-1(b)(1) negotiations will be conducted with Gallagher Benefit Services as the only source and a Purchase Order will be issued without any additional notices being posted. Respondents should refer to solicitation # 0919-15-1009. All responses must be submitted via email to Lisa.Monahan@ssa.gov.
