Peace River State Forest - Shell Road Base Material-Project No. 15200ROAD25

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking competitive bids for the purchase and delivery of approximately 3,780 tons of FDOT-certified shell road base material to be delivered to Peace River State Forest in Arcadia, Florida, under solicitation ITB FFS 25 26 85. The contract requires all materials to meet strict specifications: they must be free of trash, foreign matter, and lumps of aggregate that would impede a smooth work surface, and must originate from pits devoid of exotic or invasive plant species. The bid must include a firm fixed unit price per ton that covers all packaging, handling, shipping, delivery, and environmental fees, with no separate delivery charges permitted. All deliveries must occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding state holidays, and the contractor must deliver a minimum of 20 loads per day until full quantities are received.
