To restore the site to pre-flood conditions, the recommended repair work consists of removing and disposing all existing rock in the affected area, excavating to a slope of 1H:1V, and reconstructing to a 2.5H:1V slope with appropriate levee fill material. A 4 feet deep, 18 feet wide keyway was added for increased stability against sliding. Material was be benched into the existing in order to provide a good interface. Localized dewatering was be necessary for construction given the proximity to the landside irrigation ditch. Existing power poles were relocated for construction.
