Provide construction, alterations, and urgent Plumbing and Gas Fitting repair work, as and when requested, at
Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert., at Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert from July 10th, 2026 to July 9th,
2029. A Client Representative will state in the SOA Call-up whether the Work is to be carried out on:
On a time and material basis with an upset figure (i.e. a maximum payable amount based on established hourly
rates and material costs as per the Basis of Payment); or
A fixed price quotation determined from the clearly outlined scope of work.
Plans and Specifications provided at the time of the SOA Call-up will be the standard source of contract information outlining
more complex Work. In the case of less complex Work, the SOA Call-up scope may be described by sketch and/or written
description.
The Contractor will be assigned the duties and responsibility of Prime Contractor when the Contractor is the sole Contractor
on the Call-up work site, or when two or more contractors occupy the same space and time. All those employed to work on
the site are to meet the requirements of the provincially legislated Apprenticeship and Industry Training Act. Tradespersons
are to be registered apprentices or certified journeymen, skilled, qualified and supervised. The work force may be
augmented by general labours.
