NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) Solicitation #: 30006884 This requirement is for: Fisheries and Oceans Canada This requirement is Subject to Nunavut Land Claims Agreement. This requirement is open only to suppliers registered on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR). The requirement is intended to result in the award of one contract. The following suppliers registered on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR) have been invited to submit a proposal. • Sedna ROV Services Inc • Redfern, Madeline Description of the Requirement: User groups at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography (BIO) including Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Department of National Defense, National Resources Canada, and the Canadian Coast Guard, have a requirement for: a. the rental of two (2) fully operational Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) systems; and b. an experienced operator (the Operator) to join, and assist, the DFO/DRDC team during field operations in Barrow Strait, Nunavut, on board a Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) vessel. The DFO/DRDC mission objective is to inspect and recover two underwater cables in Barrow Strait, Nunavut (The Mission), at a position roughly 74.606N, 91.251W (near Gascoyne Inlet). Proposed period of contract: The period of contract shall be from date of contract award to November 30, 2025.
