R -- Contract Extension for Pension Support

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to extend its contract with ExcellerateHRO, under Contract No. PBGC01-CT-05-0738, for an additional twelve months to continue providing critical actuarial support related to the transition as PBGC takes over trusteeship of the US Airways Retirement Plans. ExcellerateHRO's responsibilities include calculating estimated PBGC termination benefits and addressing data-related issues. This extension is essential to complete the complex transition process. ExcellerateHRO brings a decade of specialized experience as the plan actuary, familiar with the intricacies of the US Airways plans, PBGC’s policies and procedures, and an integrated information system developed during their tenure. Their unique expertise enables them to perform these services efficiently and effectively, making them the most qualified provider to fulfill these additional contract requirements during this crucial transition period.
