The National Capital Region Contracting Center, on behalf of the U.S. Army Deputy Chief of Staff G-1, plans to award a sole source contract for a three-month period to continue personnel support services critical to maintaining essential Human Resource functions. This contract will extend services currently provided by SERCO, SI International, and Strategic Resources, ensuring uninterrupted support in areas such as HR assistance, personnel life-cycle management, transition processing, counseling, well-being programs, awards, mail services, IT support, help desk, and program management. The decision for a sole source award is based on the authority that only the current contractors can meet these specific agency needs without disruption, which is essential to support the mission and welfare of military members, civilians, and their families. The short-term contract underscores the priority to maintain continuity while the follow-on requirement undergoes competition, with the minimum time frame proposed to enable a transition to full and open competition as soon as possible. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals, and communications are limited to the designated contract specialist. The contract is identified under solicitation number W91WAW-10-R-0091, facilitated by the Department of Defense office at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, under NAICS code 541612, covering management and technical consulting services. The Government reserves the discretion to proceed without competition based on responses to the notice.
