Full Description

Description: Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order to perform Air Boss Duties, Announcer Duties, 8 Flying Aerobatic Acts, and provide an Air Show Sound System for the Offutt Air Show, 26-28 August 2004 to Texas Aviation Hall of Fame, DBA: Lone Star Flight Museum, 2002 Terminal Drive, Galveston, TX 77554-3279. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Texas Aviation Hall of Fame is the only vendor that can meet all of the Air Boss, Announcer, Flying Aerobatic Acts, and sound system requirements for the Offutt Air Show, and requirements are not to be split among mulitple vendors.
