The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is conducting a Direct Conversion with Cost Comparison study for clerical support services at its office in Moscow, Idaho. These services are presently performed by Government personnel, and this process involves evaluating whether contracting out these services would be more cost-effective than continuing in-house staffing. This effort falls under the NAICS code 561110, which pertains to Office Administrative Services. The agency emphasizes that this is not a solicitation or request for proposal and does not commit the Government to award any contract. The formal solicitation is expected to be released around April 23, 2003, and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
