R--Personnel and Information Security Services

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office (ORO) plans to issue a competitive small business solicitation to procure Personnel and Information Security services to support both the ORO and the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Y-12 Site Office. The contract will have a five-year period of performance, consisting of a basic term with possible option periods. Services to be provided under this contract include a broad range of security functions such as Classified Material Protection and Control, handling incidents of security concern, Operations Security, cyber security for both classified and unclassified domains, badging, security awareness training, the Human Reliability Program, and processing personnel security clearance authorizations. This acquisition is set aside entirely for small businesses under FAR 19.5, reflecting the DOE’s commitment to supporting small business participation.
