Reinhart Foodservice LLC has been awarded a 273-day bridge contract, SPE300-26-D3015, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) to maintain uninterrupted Prime Vendor services for food and beverage distribution to Department of Defense customers in Georgia, ensuring operational readiness while a competitive follow-on contract is being procured. The contract, effective from May 24, 2026, through February 20, 2027, or until a new contract is awarded, is structured as an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) agreement with a fixed price and Economic Price Adjustment, carrying a guaranteed minimum value of $7,510,833.39 and a maximum ceiling of $150,216,667.87. The award is sole-source, justified by the determination that Reinhart Foodservice is the only responsible source capable of providing seamless service continuity without operational disruption, referencing its incumbent status, established logistics infrastructure in Valdosta, Georgia, and specialized operational capabilities. Full-line distribution includes sourcing, warehousing, transportation, and secure delivery of hundreds of foodservice items to meet government standards, though specific packaging, inspection, or quality criteria are not detailed in the available documentation. The contracting office is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, under DLA Troop Support, with key points of contact identified for administrative support. A Justification and Approval document, required under FAR 6.305, was signed on May 14, 2020, and accompanies the award notice, supporting the use of other than full and open competition. The contract includes a de facto early termination clause allowing discontinuance upon successful award and implementation of a competitive replacement, provided the minimum obligated amount has been met. Reinhart’s CAGE code is 5C8J3, and the contract is classified under NAICS 424410, with no set-aside status, socioeconomic designations, or affirmative offeror certifications disclosed. No detailed pricing breakdowns, FOB terms, or specific delivery schedules are provided, and while security, OCI, and key personnel requirements are implied through operational necessity, no formal clauses addressing these have been explicitly included in the available documentation.
