The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Chief Administration Office (OCAO) and Safety and Environmental Compliance Office (SECO) requires the procurement of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to meet agency sustainability mandates for carbon pollution-free electricity (CFE). The RECs must be Green-e® Energy certified (or equivalent) and generated from eligible renewable resources (e.g., wind, solar) within the United States.


In accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) principles of maximizing efficiency, this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for RECs prepared in accordance with the format and procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
