Design airfield pavement repairs for the following airfield pavement sections: 1) APWR-A04B - The PCI 2017 report recommends that this section is reconstructed with 13 inches of PCC over six inches of base, and restablishment of markings. 2) PA1-A05B - The PCI 2017 report recommends that this section is reconstructed with 13 inches of PCC over six inches of base, and restablishment of markings. 3) TWFSH-S04D - The PCI 2017 report recommends that this section receives a gilsonite modified seal coat. 4) TWF-T02A - The PCI 2017 report recommends that this section receives a two inch AC mill and overlay, and reestablishment of the markings. b) Design Airfield Drainage system shortcomings repairs, including subdrainage infrastructure and surface lines, reprofiling of unpaved areas. Specifically, this includes an overall re-grading of the infields and Air Safety clearance zones and the replacement of critical existing ditches with underground perforated pipes in an effort to optimize the runoff flow and avoid ponding and limit erosion. This project addresses: 1) "Phase 4" listed on the Base Bid (Includes drainage upgrading, unpaved areas reprofiling) scope proposal of the NAVSTA Rota Airfield Hydrology Study (2015) as indicated on Drawing 3 of Attachment(7)/Location Drawings.. 2) "North-West" downstream areas as indicated on Drawing 4 of Attachment(7)/Location Drawings.
