CURRENT SITUATION: MUSE generators, connected to East camp’s network, could handle limited amount of load on feeder 6 at PP3 or feeder 4 at PP2 as the generators are old, more than 12 years, and there is no available parts in market to do overhaul. Besides most of backup generators in east side of camp are connected to only critical loads inside the buildings, not the entire load of buildings. This configuration in east side of camp creates a significant challenge to shedding the load or shaving peak in case of emergency at both power plant. REQUIREMENTS: Create a micro grid for all loads on feeders 6 @ PP3 and feeder 4 @ PP2 by installing five generators 2 MW, prime power type at same location for MUSE generators behind WWTP. 3- Create a redundant connection between Feeder 6 @ PP3 and feeder 11 @ PP2A by interception Feeder 6 with 6 way switch and connect to Switch (S1 @ PP2A) to connect more load to micro grid. 4- Follow the attached specification during creating the micro grid. IMPACT: 1- Failure to secure critical missions from power outage during emergency 2- Reduce energy security for critical missions.
