09/12/2023 08:05:44 (PST) : This project will replace the existing 34.5/11.5 kV-7MVA Medium-Voltage (MV) Unit Substation referred as NH Lineup "A" with new MV Unit Substation, which include a Unit Type Transformer and Metal-Clad Switchgear of same in kind and capacities as the existing. The project replaces the existing Metal-Clad 15kV Switchgear referred as NH Lineup "B" with new same in kind 15kV Metal-Clad Switchgear. The Medium Voltage Unit Substations lineups NH A and NH B are sitting on NH-231 at NSAHR. Both MV Metal-Clad Switchgear Lineups NH A and NH B shall be single-ended type and rated at 15kV-1200A. The MV Unit Substations NH A and NH B are the electrical infrastructure backbone NH-94, NH-95 and NH area. The new 15kV Metal-Clad Switchgear A shall match the Low-Side Bushings of existing 7MVA Transformer B, which will remain in place. This project will also include the demolition of the existing equipment to be replaced. the project will provide a new 75KVA standalone pad-mounted transformer for control power, new DC battery systems, new Neutral Grounding Resistors, new microprocessor based protection relays, and medium voltage vacuum type circuit breakers as well as the required remote racking devices to safely operation of the disconnecting equipment.
