Citrus County, Florida (“County”) is seeking proposals from qualified Respondents to provide food services for the County`s Food Service Programs in accordance with:
1) Title III - Older American Act Programs (OAA) 2) Private Pay meals program 3) Community Care for the Elderly Program. (CCE)
The County routinely requires an average of approximately 250 hot, frozen and/or shelf stable meals a day for approximately 257 days, an estimated 70% of which will be home-delivered meals. The types of meals are - hot (fresh), frozen, cold and shelf stable (breakfast and dinners) for both congregate and home delivery programs.
The selected Respondents shall provide the services, design, labor, materials, equipment, and all incidentals necessary, as further defined in Section 2 of this RFP to provide daily congregate and home-delivered weekday meals for homebound residents of Citrus County, Florida.
The County intends to award more than one Respondent to ensure all types of meals are available at all times.
