The Hastings Area School System is soliciting proposals for the replacement of security camera hardware and video doorbell intercoms across its district facilities. The project requires a comprehensive Avigilon-based solution, featuring a 1-for-1 replacement of legacy Axis and Avigilon H3 series cameras with current Avigilon models that match existing lens types, fields of view, and form factors. Additionally, the vendor must install 12 Avigilon video doorbell intercom units across seven entrance points in six school buildings and provide the necessary Avigilon Alta Video licenses. The scope of work includes the installation of all equipment and the physical removal and disposal of all replaced hardware, including eight decommissioned Axis cameras. Proposals are due by November 17, 2026, and must be submitted as a sealed envelope or digitally with signed PDFs. To be considered responsive, bids must include a detailed line-item cost breakdown for hardware, licensing, installation, and disposal, as well as a separate unit rate for optional cabling. Required documentation includes a bid bond for 5 percent of the total bid, a Familial Relationship Disclosure Affidavit, and an Iran Economic Sanctions Act Compliance Affidavit. The awarded vendor must provide performance and payment bonds for 100 percent of the contract sum and adhere to state prevailing wage rates.
