The Housing Authority of the City of Providence (“PHA”) Rhode Island is accepting technical qualifications statements, in the form of a Proposal, from real estate development companies (“Development Partner,” “Respondent,” or “Offeror”) with extensive experience working with public housing authorities on moderate and substantial revitalization and demolition with new (replacement) construction projects that utilize HUD repositioning programs such as RAD, RAD / Section 18 Construction Blends, Restore-Rebuild (f/k/a Faircloth to RAD) and Transfer of Assistance; HUDs Choice Neighborhood Planning and Implementation Grants; federal and state historic tax credits; and low-income housing tax credits (“LIHTC”). Respondents are required to have the skills, experience, and resources to serve as the PHA’s Development Partner for the Revitalization of Sunset Village and 200 Chad Brown Street (the “Project”) . Detailed information regarding the work encompassed under this Project is provided in the Scope of Services section found in Appendix A of this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”).
