Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT is soliciting Towing Services at designated Staging Sites along the I-195 corridor in Rhode Island as described herein. The Towing Services will be provided during certain hours of the day, up to and including 24/7 standby operations as described herein. The Towing Services shall include, but not be limited to, the quick clearance of disabled vehicles from highway incident scenes and the relocation of such vehicles to a nearby, safe location off of I-195. These services can significantly reduce the amount of traffic congestion and the risk of secondary crashes on the highway.
