Contract Overview
Solicitation details, issuing organization, response deadlines, documents, and interested companies for this government contract opportunity.
AI Contract Overview
The United States Space Force (USSF) is conducting a pre-solicitation sources sought notice for the Satellite Communication Augmentation Resource (SCAR) Program, Increment 1, aiming to gather information from industry on currently deployed satellite communication antenna systems that deliver high-gain, low-latency, and reliable communication capabilities. This initial engagement serves as a groundwork to assess the maturity, technology status, and availability of such systems to guide ongoing and future USSF satellite communication programs, particularly focused on innovative satellite ground Telemetry, Tracking, and Commanding (TT&C) capabilities under Topic Area 4: Disruptive Technologies. The procurement approach will leverage the Missile Defense Agency’s Nimble Options for Buying Layered Effects (NOBLE) Multiple Authority Announcement (MAA) under 10 U.S.C. § 3458 and DFARS 212.70 for commercial solutions openings, allowing for multiple calls and awards. The contracting strategy prioritizes fixed-price arrangements using Other Transactions Authority (OTA) Agreements or FAR Part 12 procurement contracts where practical, explicitly avoiding cost-reimbursable contracts. This announcement includes Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and requires respondents to submit a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before gaining access to solicitation materials via the DoD SAFE platform. Respondents must also be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract awards. Response submissions are due by July 26, 2026, and must be directed to designated points of contact at the Space Rapid Capabilities Office in Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. The specific NAICS code for this requirement is 541715, with a Product Service Code of 5985 targeting antennas, waveguides, and related equipment. Since this is a market research and acquisition planning action, no contract will be awarded directly from this notice. Offerors are reminded that proprietary or business-sensitive data submitted are their responsibility to safeguard, and the government reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel the acquisition at any point. The overall place of performance is identified as Road Forks, New Mexico.
