AI Contract Overview
This fixed-price solicitation, issued by the DLA Weapons Support Land Supplier Operations Vehicle Support, is for the procurement of seven plain seals (NSN 5330-01-083-5355) with a delivery timeline of 240 days after the award date. The contract includes a First Article Test (FAT) requirement for three units, requiring the contractor to provide written notice to the Contracting Officer and QAR 14 days before shipment and submit a test report within 45 days. Delivery is FOB Origin, with the destination point for both inspection and acceptance located in Anniston, Alabama. The procurement is subject to strict technical and security requirements, including the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system for invoicing and compliance with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 certifications. Due to the nature of the items, they must be packaged in medium-duty, waterproof, greaseproof, opaque bags per MIL-DTL-117 to prevent UV deterioration. Furthermore, the technical data is subject to ITAR or EAR export controls, meaning offerors must possess an approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification to be eligible for award. Notably, the government will not evaluate or award contracts to offerors using additive manufacturing processes for these supplies.
