Sentinel Peak Resources California LLC proposes to drill one new exploratory oil and gas production well. The proposed project would occur on public lands containing Bureau of Land Management (BLM) administered sub-surface minerals within the Midway Sunset Oilfield. The proposed project location is approximately 2.5 miles northwest of Fellows, California, and lies along Highway 33 between Sunrise Cogen Road and Mocal Road. The proposed activity includes the grading of a 200’ x 100’ well pad. No flowlines, producing facilities or other infrastructure are being evaluated under this proposal because the Project proposal is only an exploratory well. The proposed project will result in 0.50 acres of permanent ground disturbance. The project is estimated to take ten days to complete. The grading portion will take two days with 10-hour operations, followed by six days of drilling with 24-hour operations, and finally two days of completion work with 10-hour days.
