TSL requires the acquisition of a service agreement to ensure the operability of the Agilent systems. An important resource for performing this work at the TSL are the instruments that were previously purchased from Agilent Technologies, Inc. and span multiple analytical platforms. These instruments consist of ten (10) Gas Chromatography (GC) systems, three (3) Liquid Chromatography Single Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry Systems (LC-MS), two (2) Liquid Chromatography Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry Systems (LC-QQQ-MS), and one (1) Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry Ion Mobility Quadrupole Time-of-flight System (LC-MS-IM QTof). These highly specialized instruments play a vital role in the quality control and the applied research performed at the TSL.
These instruments must be readily available to perform analytical analysis to provide quality control and meet applied research goals. In order to generate reliable data, users and technicians must have a significant knowledge and experience base in order to properly operate and maintain them.
