Sierra Madre Blvd. Median Enhancement

The City of Pasadena Department of Public Works is initiating the Sierra Madre Blvd. Median Enhancement project, a forecast opportunity under NAICS code 237990. The project focuses on enhancing a 1.25 mile corridor between Washington Blvd. and Michillinda Ave. in Pasadena, California. The primary scope involves replacing existing landscape medians with drought-tolerant shrubs, groundcover, and new shade trees to increase the tree canopy and promote carbon sequestering. To improve stormwater management and water quality, the project will implement nature-based solutions and green infrastructure.
