Demuth Test Well Project

The Demuth Test Well Project, led by the Sonoma County Water Agency in California, aims to advance the understanding of local groundwater systems through a focused hydrogeologic study. To date, the project has completed two phases of geophysical surveys and installed four groundwater monitoring wells to establish baseline conditions. The next phase involves constructing a single 14-inch-diameter stainless steel test well to a depth of approximately 100 feet below ground surface, designed to simulate the pumping capacity of a municipal supply well.
