This notice is issued by the USPFO-NM Contracting Office solely for market research and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred by vendors in the preparation of information submitted in response to this notice.
1. Introduction & Purpose
The New Mexico Air National Guard (NMANG) is seeking to identify businesses, particularly small businesses, capable of providing a comprehensive sports marketing and sponsorship package. The purpose of this sponsorship is to improve the visibility and community footprint of the NMANG, increase brand awareness, generate qualified recruiting leads, and promote military service opportunities.
The Government is seeking to determine if there are capable small businesses that can perform the required work, specifically through a partnership with the New Mexico Goatheads sports franchise or the Rio Rancho Events Center. The information received will assist the Contracting Officer in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy, which may include a small business set-aside competition.
2. Background
To effectively support its recruiting mission, the NMANG requires access to high-visibility sporting events that attract a diverse and large-scale audience throughout New Mexico. A strategic sponsorship with a premier sports franchise offers continuous exposure to thousands of spectators through venue advertising, digital media, promotional events, and fan engagement opportunities. The place of performance will be the Rio Rancho Events Center, located at 3001 Civic Center Circle, Rio Rancho, NM 87144, during New Mexico Goatheads home games and associated events.
3. Summary of Requirements
The contractor shall be required to provide a comprehensive sponsorship package that includes, but is not limited to, the following key deliverables:
- Mobile Application Sponsorship: Exclusive title or premium sponsorship of the franchise's official mobile application.
- Exclusive Asset Sponsorship: Branding on high-visibility assets such as the field/ice maintenance vehicle (e.g., ice resurfacing machine, bullpen cart).
- Theme Night Sponsorship: Sponsorship of one (1) high-visibility theme night (e.g., Military Appreciation Night), including game-night recognition and promotional advertising.
- Venue & Store Branding: Prominent branding at the team's merchandise store entrances and windows.
- Prominent Venue Advertisements: A minimum of two (2) highly visible field, court, or ice-side advertisements (e.g., dasher boards, outfield walls, courtside LED displays).
4. Requested Information & Submission Instructions
